NEW YORK — Liberty Media Corp. and Body By Jake plan to roll out their Cable Health Club as a 24-hour health and fitness network. It is being produced by International Family Entertainment in association with Body By Jake, the company owned by fitness expert Jake Steinfeld.

The program currently runs on The Family Channel for 2 1/2 hours a day. It will move into the 24-hour mode as channels become available. Steinfeld, who has sold fitness products through infomercials, will be the network’s programming director.

Reebok International Ltd. is also involved in the venture as an advertiser and programming supplier.

Brenda Goodell, senior director of programming of Reebok, said, “The goal of the network is to be the CNN of the fitness industry.”
