DIORIFIC: The fashion, fine jewelry and perfumes of Christian Dior are the focus of a box set to be published by Assouline in mid-May. The release marks the publisher’s fourth partnership project with the French fashion house, starting with “Dior” in 1995 and going up to “American Dior” in 2010. The set contains three 80-page tomes, each featuring 60 illustrations, to be published in French, English and Chinese.
“Dior Fashion” was written by Caroline Bongrand, novelist, screenwriter and former editor in chief of French fashion magazine L’Officiel de la Mode. “Dior Fine Jewelry” and “Dior Perfume” were penned by Jérôme Hanover, a journalist specializing in luxury lifestyle topics. The set, priced $75, will be available in Assouline stores worldwide and specialty retailers including Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
