Alber Elbaz, Olivier Rousteing, Simon Porte Jacquemus, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Anthony Vaccarello, Isabel Marant, Julien Dossena, Haider Ackermann, Kenzo’s Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Chloé’s Clare Waight Keller and Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski of Hermès are the designers shot by Lagerfeld in the 400-page issue. (Lagerfeld’s famous cat Choupette is also part of the series.)
Meanwhile, Jean-Paul Goude shot the issue’s gatefold cover featuring 14 actresses: Isabelle Adjani, Emmanuelle Béart, Bérénice Bejo, Leïla Bekhti, Monica Bellucci, Carole Bouquet, Catherine Deneuve, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Isabelle Huppert, Sandrine Kiberlain, Mélanie Laurent, Chiara Mastroianni , Céline Sallette and Marine Vacth.
Paid circulation of Elle in France was 336,143 from October 2014 to September 2015, according to France’s Audit Bureau, down 4.2 percent compared to the same period in 2013-14.
