SWITCHING HATS: Changes are afoot for InStyle magazine’s accessories department. Accessories director Leah Karp is leaving the magazine. She will be succeeded by the title’s former accessories director, Meggan Crum, later this month.
Crum last helmed InStyle’s accessories department from 2007 to 2011, when she departed to serve as chief executive officer and cofounder for digital fashion startup TheRunthrough. The company — a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Business Services Network and the Accessories Council — was established as an online look-book marketplace for editors to view collections en masse. She will continue to consult with the company as an adviser.
