LICHTMESS JOINS TOMMY: Tommy Hilfiger is beefing up its advertising and media department. Eric Lichtmess will join the company Monday as vice president of advertising and integrated media, The Americas, a new post. Lichtmess will be responsible for brand and digital marketing, media, production and the in-house creative studio. He will report to Heather Vandenberghe, senior vice president of marketing and communications, The Americas, who began last month.

For the past five years, Lichtmess was director of advertising for Louis Vuitton North America. He and Vandenberghe had previously worked together at Vuitton, where she was senior vice president of marketing and communications. Earlier, Lichtmess worked for the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities and at ad agency ADK America/Red Cell.
