Jamie Pallot, editorial director of Condé Nast Digital, has a new job but he’s not moving far within 4 Times Square (to be 1 World Trade Center in a few years). This week, he joined Vanity Fair, taking on the role of executive director of multimedia projects, a new position. Pallot declined to reveal specifics about his new job. “All I can tell you officially is that big stuff is coming down the pike,” he said. “New projects all with some digital component.”

His role at CondéNet had been ill-defined ever since the business unit was gutted a few years ago, although he’s continued to consult on digital initiatives across the company, including on WWD.com. When reached on Wednesday, he insisted he’s pleased with the move. “It’s an amazing brand to work with,” he said.
