PPR’S NEW AGENCY: The U.S. division of French retail-to-luxury group PPR has retained communications agency Ruder Finn, Inc. to handle corporate press relations, a spokesman said Friday, confirming a report in PR Week. PPR last year reinforced its corporate structure on the continent, naming Laurent Claquin as head of PPR Americas, charged with supporting the group’s luxury and sport & lifestyle brands, developing synergies, optimizing efficiencies and raising the profile of the French company in an important sphere of influence. Claquin took up his post in New York in November.
