LISTED: Stylist is going digital. Two years after the launch of the French edition of Stylist, in a joint venture between Groupe Marie Claire and Shortlist Media, the free women’s magazine is introducing a digital component called La List.

Inspired by Emerald Street, the daily e-mail of Shortlist Media in the U.K., La List is a free newsletter focusing on fashion, culture and lifestyle that targets young urban and connected women. The first edition is set for April 16.

The newsletter will be sent daily at 11:30 a.m. CET.

Violaine Schutz, a former lifestyle editor at Be and contributor to Vanityfair.fr, was tapped as La List editor in chief. She works under the direction of Audrey Diwan, the magazine’s editorial director; Aude Walker, its editor in chief, and Joachim Roncin, its creation director.

La List aims to reach 40,000 subscribers by the end of 2015 and 100,000 by 2018, with a break-even point to be achieved in 2018.

In 2014, the circulation of Stylist in France was 405,994, according to the country’s Circulation Audit Bureau.

Paid circulation of women’s magazines in France was down 4.4 percent on-year, according to information from the audit bureau released on Thursday. Meanwhile, total visits to their Web sites increased 32.8 percent on-year, while mobile sites and apps registered a 52.1 percent gain.
