NEW YORK — WWD has named Jessica Kerwin senior editor, Eye, and Sharon Edelson senior editor, research.
Kerwin now oversees the Eye pages for WWD and its sister publication, W. She will also continue to cover the collections in New York, Milan and Paris for the fashion department.

Kerwin had been fashion news editor for WWD and senior fashion editor for news at W. She joined Fairchild in 1994 as a WWD fashion market editor, and was group fashion editor for WWD and W in Los Angeles in 1997 and 1998.
She succeeds Robert Haskell, who has joined W as senior editor, articles.
Edelson, in her new role, is responsible for The WWD List, a feature that provides rankings and data of interest to the apparel and retail industries. Launched this week, it runs every Thursday. She will also contribute business features.
She joined Fairchild Publications in 1989 in WWD’s beauty department and has also covered retail and TV home shopping for the paper. Since 1999, she has been at W, first as associate editor and most recently as senior editor for special projects.”
