Alison Adler Matz has been named publisher of WWD Beauty Biz, Fairchild Fashion Group chief revenue officer Will Schenck said Friday. In addition to sales and marketing duties for the glossy, Matz, who most recently served as the publisher of Brides, will manage all beauty advertising for WWD.


Matz was publisher of the Condé Nast bridal title from May 2008 to October 2009. The new role marks her third go around with the company. Matz had previously been an associate publisher at Glamour, Teen Vogue and House & Garden, and, earlier in her sales career, had worked at Self. She will report to Schenck. — Matt Lynch
