WWD Japan has tapped two new editors in chief to take over the roles vacated by Kazuyuki Yamamuro, who unexpectedly passed away last month.
Chika Tsuzuki is assuming the editor in chief position of the weekly print edition of WWD Japan, which is published by Infas Publications. Tsuzuki had been working as Yamamuro’s deputy editor in chief until his death, from which point she helmed the title on an interim basis.

Tsuzuki will also become editor in chief of WWD Japan Beauty, a position she held a few years ago, before moving over to the weekly paper.
Tsuzuki, a graduate of Kwansei-Gakuin University and the Fashion Institute of Technology, has been with Infas since 1999 and worked her way up the ranks of the organization.
Ken Mori will become editor in chief of WWD Japan’s recently launched Web site, wwdjapan.com. Mori, a member of the family that owns Infas, currently holds the title of director at the Web site. He has overseen the Web site’s development thus far.
