Fossil Inc., the Richardson, Tex.-based accessories maker, said Thursday that it acquired the distribution business for Latin America from its largest third-party distributor, Bentrani Watches LLC.
A Fossil partner for 10 years, Miami-based Bentrani distributes a sizable portion of the brand’s proprietary and licensed products in sixteen Latin American countries, including Chile, Argentina, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela and Uruguay.
“We have had a remarkable partnership with the Bentrani team,” said Fossil chief executive officer Kosta Kartsotis. “Latin America is one of the company’s fastest growing regions in the world and we feel honored Bentrani is joining the Fossil team to guide that growth.”
