Carla Sozzani's innovative multi-brand boutique 10 Corso Como is about to open its second store in Seoul.
The new 11,840-square-foot space will be located in the large Lotte retail and hotel complex in the heart of Seoul's Myeongdong shopping district. Opening March 31, 10 Corso Como will occupy the entire fifth floor of AvenueL, Lotte's most exclusive luxury section, which is home to numerous brands including Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.
"The AvenueL venue marks the beginning of a new style of retail partnership for 10 Corso Como - joining for the first time ever a department store," the retailer said.
The Milan-based retailer first entered the Seoul market in 2008, teaming up with Samsung Cheil to open a 10 Corso Como in the rich and fashionable neighborhood of Cheongdam in southern Seoul. Samsung is also a partner in the Lotte project.
Sozzani's longtime collaborator, artist Kris Ruhs, will design the new AvenueL store.
"I was driving back on Saturday afternoon from the beach, and I just saw this sign saying 'Skydiving for $95.' And I was like, I can't not sky dive for $95," says Tom Bateman about a moment in Hawaii while shooting "Snatched." #wwdeye (📷: @vsteves; Interview by @ktauer; Styled by @thealexbadia)
