NEW YORK -- Accessory Network has been licensed by Chic HIS Inc. to produce handbags and small leather goods lines under the Chic label.
Accessory Network will launch the Chic leather goods at the March accessories market. The lines will feature handbags, sport bags, backpacks, totes and a variety of small leather goods, including wallets, checkbook covers, key cases and organizers, in vinyl and canvas fabrications.
Wholesale prices will range from $3.50 to $8 for handbags, and $3 to $7.50 each for small leather goods. Both collections will be targeted at mass market and specialty store retailers for fall deliveries.
Accessory Network projected first-year sales of $3 million to $5 million.
Chic by HIS manufactures moderately priced denim jeans and casual pants for the mass market.
