NEW YORK — Asos.com, a global online fashion and beauty retailer, has signed a lease for a 3,325-square-foot office at 142 Greene Street in New York. It is the first U.S. location for the U.K.-based global brand.
Asos.com offers more than 50,000 branded and private label product lines of women’s wear, men’s wear, footwear, accessories, jewelry and beauty. Targeted to the twentysomething customer, the company operates stand-alone Web sites in the U.S., France, Germany, Australia, Spain and Italy and ships to more than 160 countries from its central distribution in the U.K. Asos.com attracts more than 16.6 million unique visitors a month.
Adams & Co. represented the tenant in the transaction. While details weren’t disclosed, asking rents were $65 a square foot.
Established in 2000, Asos has offices in London, New York and Sydney, and plans to open offices in Germany and France later this year.
