PARIS — Dior’s headquarters on Avenue Montaigne here were temporarily off-limits on Wednesday as police cordoned off the area to investigate a suspected bomb threat.
An officer at the scene said a bomb squad was on site. Olivier Bialobos, head of communications at Dior, said he had heard reports of a suspect truck parked in front of the Canadian embassy nearby, but he had no additional information.
A spokesman for the Canadian embassy said he could not immediately comment on the situation.
The bomb alert held up editors heading to jewelry apppointments at Dior for about 30 minutes.
