NEW YORK — Casual Male Retail Group, Inc. has parted ways with its chief merchant.

In an 8K filing Wednesday, the Massachusetts-based specialty store said Wayne Diller, executive vice-president and chief merchandising officer, had been terminated. David Levin, CEO, said the company decided to eliminate that position during a reorganization that focuses the merchandising efforts on two GMMs: Doug Hearn, who recently joined Casual Male from Jos. A. Bank for the Casual Male division, and Ken Ederle, GMM of the Rochester division.

Both report to Levin who said this structure is more efficient for moving the company ahead.
