NEW YORK — Casual Male Retail Group, Inc. has parted ways with its chief merchant.
In an 8K filing Wednesday, the Massachusetts-based specialty store said Wayne Diller, executive vice-president and chief merchandising officer, had been terminated. David Levin, CEO, said the company decided to eliminate that position during a reorganization that focuses the merchandising efforts on two GMMs: Doug Hearn, who recently joined Casual Male from Jos. A. Bank for the Casual Male division, and Ken Ederle, GMM of the Rochester division.

"It's really hard sometimes. I think I have a reputation for being really tough and aggressive and pushy but I really am a very shy person who wants to be liked, and that's the conflict constantly. There's something that takes hold - I want people to like me, I don't want to be mean - but if I see something that just cries out to be answered, I go for it," says renowned NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell.
