ATLANTA — International Textile Group’s Cone Denim opened its state-of-the-art Nicaragua operation last week in a ceremony that included Daniel Ortega, president of Nicaragua, as one of the speakers.
Named Cone Denim Nicaragua (CDA), the facility is fully vertical and equipped with the most modern manufacturing equipment to process raw cotton through finished denim fabric. It has a capacity of approximately 28 million yards per year and will employ about 850 people.
