Corneliani has launched its first Beijing flagship boutique and plans 12 openings in China this year with local partner Zhejiang Hualian Group Co Ltd. The 4,300-squre-foot Beijing store, which opened April 2, is in the Jin Bao Place shopping center and boasts a fountain, marble floors and leather-trimmed ebony shelving units. Leather goods and accessories are displayed on the ground floor, while the label’s Corneliani ID collection and formalwear are upstairs, along with a VIP room for made-to-measure. The high-end Italian tailored clothing label counts 40 stores worldwide, including seven in China.
