Fashion Delivers hosted a pop-up shop on Staten Island the weekend before Christmas, giving away nearly $6 million worth of donated new merchandise to individuals with a FEMA number who were impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

The event, which drew 3,000 people, was held at Vanderbilt South Beach. It was set up so that each attendee had an appointment time to “shop” for the items on display. Fashion Delivers’ agency partners — Tunnels to Towers Foundation, Third Day Mission and Movement Church of Staten Island — handled the invitations and scheduling.
