VEGAS TIME: Next month, IWC Schaffhausen will open its first U.S. boutique in The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. The 320-square-foot boutique will feature a broad selection of the 139-year-old brand's refined watches in addition to some Vegas-exclusive styles. Benoit de Clerck, IWC's North American president, said the boutique is a sign of the company's commitment to the U.S. IWC has 16 stores worldwide, including in Dubai, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

DOCKERS TAPS LAFFIN: Dockers San Francisco has hired Nathan Laffin, vice president of women's and girls' design and product development for Old Navy, as vice president of design. He will oversee all Dockers' product design in North America. Prior to Old Navy, Laffin, 40, served as senior design manager for Target Corp. and a fashion director at the Macy's West division. Based in San Francisco, Laffin reports to John Goodman, Dockers president.
