LONDON — British fashion brand Karen Millen will plant its biggest flag in the U.S. this week with the opening of a 5,000-square-foot flagship at 587 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, near Rockefeller Center.
The store, which is set to open today, will be the brand’s second-largest worldwide, after a newly opened unit on London’s Brompton Road in Knightsbridge that measures 8,000 square feet. Like the Brompton Road unit, the New York store will carry the full collection.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
