NEW YORK -- Marty Nealon, a senior vice president at Bloomingdale's, has resigned to join Abraham & Straus as senior vice president and general merchandise manager of cosmetics, accessories, fine jewelry, intimate apparel and shoes.

At Brooklyn-based A&S, Nealon will report to Hal Kahn, chairman and chief executive officer. She succeeds Diane Wren, who is leaving the company. Her appointment is effective July 1.

Nealon started with Bloomingdale's in 1990 as operating vice president and divisional merchandise manager of fashion accessories. Her successor has not yet been named.

Bloomingdale's and A&S are both divisions of Federated Department Stores.
