ATLANTA — Kimberly Kriss has joined Modell’s Sporting Goods as senior vice-president of brand and marketing, a new position. She reports to Seth Horowitz, executive vice-president.

Horowitz said of the new role, “As we continue to expand our presence both within our geographical footprint as well as online, Kimberly will help create a deeper understanding within our consumer base and to our vendors for what the Modell’s brand embodies.”

Previously, she was head of her own brand marketing company, The Kriss Group. Before that, she was senior vice-president of marketing for Sotheby’s International Realty.
