Nordstrom Inc. is moving into Manhattan again, but this time with a unique retail concept devoted to philanthropy.

The Seattle-based upscale chain has a Rack outlet store operating in Union Square and continues to search for a full-line site in Manhattan. However, this latest venture will be a two-level, 11,137-square-foot “philanthropic-based store concept,” located at 350 West Broadway, according to Pamela Lopez, spokeswoman for Nordstrom.
