EBay culled together the looks, toys and technology inspired by pop culture that went over big among shoppers this year.
Among the fashions that made their way on the online marketplace's top 14 list were overalls. Some 530,000 pairs were purchased via eBay this year. That beat out yoga pants, with about 423,000 of the stretchy staples sold.
Celebrity weddings helped fuel designer sales. More than 11,000 items by Oscar de la Renta sold on eBay after Amal Clooney's wedding. Kim Kardashian's Givenchy wedding dress inspired some shopping, though not as much, with some 5,000 items by the French label purchased in 2014.
Fashionable baby wear had its own moment on eBay when Prince George wore a Christmas sweater by Cath Kidston that helped sales for the brand total 107,000. Meantime, Balmain sales edged up about 4 percent from last year after North West was photographed in the designer label.
Sneaker sales jumped about 12 percent this year from last year with shoppers snapping up more than a million pairs on eBay.
As for accessories, tiaras trumped all other head accessories with 450,000 sold, while the Vivienne Westwood hat seen on Pharrell Williams pushed buys of similar mountain hats up 43 percent from last year.
Consumers may want wearable technology, as seen with the 370,000 Fitbits sold on eBay, but may not be ready for high tech versions, with Google Glass sales topping out at around 25,000 for the year.
Elsewhere on the list, the popularity of products inspired by the Disney movie "Frozen" trumped Barbie purchases on the site, while 161,000 more products related to the FIFA World Cup sold over those for the Olympic Games.
EBay counts about 152 million active shoppers with some 800 million items up for sale. The company compiled its list based on key terms searched throughout all item categories and on sales globally.
The site's parent is expected to spin off its eBay and PayPal businesses into their own separate, publicly-traded companies next year. The new eBay business set to emerge in 2015 generated about $9.9 billion in revenue over the last 12 months.

24-year-old Jean Prounis is redefining the rules of jewelry. Formerly a studio assistant to Jemima Kirke and a design apprentice at Ghuran, she focuses on handcrafted subtleties and ancient goldsmithing techniques. “There was a really sterile feel in the environment and I wanted to have jewelry with character that shapes how you wear it everyday,” Prounis said. Each piece is hand made in New York, either by Prounis or three other jewelers in the district. #wwdfashion
