ATLANTA — Anne M. Shoemaker has been named vice-president and treasurer of Oxford Industries, Inc., succeeding J. Reese Lanier, senior vice-president and treasurer, who is leaving to pursue business opportunities outside the apparel industry.
Shoemaker has spent her entire career at Oxford Industries, most recently as vice-president and head of the internal audit department. Upon Lanier’s departure, she will assume the title of vice-president, capital markets and treasurer, and will coordinate the company’s interactions with the debt and equity capital markets.
Lanier will remain available to the company during the transition period as a consultant. Also, Oxford has initiated a search to find a replacement for Shoemaker as head of its internal audit department.
