Patricia Field, who plans to close her store at the end of February or mid-March, is having a major going-out-of-business sale.
The sale, which started Jan. 2, has expanded to include even more merchandise. After a weekend that was literally “a wonderful mob scene,” Field said she invited designers to participate in the sale with additional pieces, to keep the “momentum of great prices going throughout the month.”
Field will be replenishing her stock at 50 percent off, with “great buys from small designers and one-of-a-kind pieces,” she added. Some of the designers include Fernando Rojas, These Pink Lips, Tzuji, Fernando Garcia and Pericles Kondylatos.
Last month, Field said she would shutter her 4,000-square-foot store at 306 Bowery. She moved into that location in 2012, after more than 30 years in the West Village at 10 East 8th Street, and six years at 302 Bowery.
