The Pool trade show in Las Vegas is moving across town this August.
The show, which focuses on emerging talent and lifestyle fashion, will relocate to the Mandalay Bay from the Las Vegas Convention Center. At Mandalay Bay, it will join MAGIC Men and Project.
“We decided the best way to help facilitate the connection of buyers with our brands is to move closer to the other shows our buyers are shopping. Right now those shows are located in the Mandalay Bay,” said show director Stephanie Seeley.
In February, MAGIC, which owns Pool, employed a dual-venue format with MAGIC Men and Project showing at the Mandalay Bay and WWDMAGIC and FNPlatform at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Pool had been at the Convention Center.
“The move gives buyers shopping the contemporary market direct access to a wide assortment of relevant brands across the shows in the Mandalay Bay,” Seeley added.
Lanita Layton, divisional merchandise manager for Holt Renfrew, said of the move, “The more the shows think of how to make it easier for the vendors and retailers to work the lines, the better it is for the industry.”
Among the new brands slated to exhibit at Pool in August are AMPM Studio, A(r)mour Jewelry, Grayling and Motel. The show will be held Tuesday, Aug. 17 to Thursday, Aug. 19.
