LONDON — Primark said Monday it would begin to pay out $9 million in cash payments to 580 victims of the Rana Plaza building collapse in Bangladesh.

Payments will be made to those injured in the tragedy, and to the dependents of those who died while working for New Wave Bottoms, a Primark supplier that operated from the second floor of the eight-story building that collapsed last April, killing more than 1,130 people.
