PARIS — Paris police visited retailers on the Champs Elysées today and warned store managers to be cautious after a gunman staged several attacks in Paris, Edouard Lefebvre, general deputy for the Comité Champs Elysées, told WWD.
A manhunt is under way in the French capital after the gunman attacked the offices of the newspaper Liberation and opened fire outside the Société Générale bank earlier today.
