Men's designer Robert James will open his third store in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn on Dec. 9.
This follows the opening of a 2,800-square-foot store in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill earlier this week and joins the original 3,500-square-foot unit and design studio on Orchard Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
The Williamsburg unit, which will be 2,100 square feet and will include a mezzanine for suit fittings, was a pop-up that will be turned into a permanent store and is located at 193 Grand Street. The Boerum Hill location is at 416 Atlantic Avenue.
James is the creator of men’s brand By Robert James, which was founded in 2008 and offers everything from tailored clothing and jeans to knitwear, all of which is produced in New York. He was born in rural Ohio and attended Ohio State University and Fashion Institute of Technology.
