NEW YORK -- Saks Fifth Avenue has named Sally Pearson senior vice president and general merchandise manager for women's apparel, succeeding Anne Keenes.
Pearson takes on Keenes's responsibilities for Salon Z, coats, petites, dresses, suits, bridge and active sportswear, private label and product development.
Keenes was named senior vice president and general merchandise manager covering women's accessories, jewelry, handbags, shoes, intimate apparel and children's. Last year, she was Saks' spokeswoman on QVC Network, when it aired two shows selling its Real Clothes private label merchandise.
Pearson will join Saks Monday. Most recently, she was vice president of better sportswear at the Federated Merchandising corporate buying office. Prior to that, she held senior posts with Jordan Marsh in Boston and Bullock's in Los Angeles.
Michael Zaccaro, senior vice president and general merchandise manager for gifts and men's apparel and accessories, has added fragrance and cosmetics to his responsibilities.
