LAS VEGAS — Leslie Freytag has joined Tommy Bahama as GMM of its retail division, a newly created position. She will be based in Seattle and report to Brian Pearce, vice-president of retail for the Oxford Industries-owned brand.

Freytag will be responsible for the development and direction of the company’s 70-plus retail stores.

Freytag spent 22 years with Neiman Marcus in various merchandising and buying roles including intimate apparel, hosiery and children’s.

Most recently, she was senior vice-president of merchandising and marketing for Jackson & Perkins, a direct marketing firm. She has also been with Harry & David’s.
