Two top executives at Web retailer Bluefly Inc. stepped down on Cyber Monday, the online equivalent of Black Friday.
Barry Erdos resigned as president and chief operating officer, but will continue as a director and a non-executive employee, drawing a salary of $212,500. Erdos has been a director at the company since 2005 and president and chief operating officer since January.
Additionally, Bradford Matson said he would step down as chief marketing officer as of Jan. 8. Matson began leading the Web site’s marketing efforts in 2005. He has agreed to serve as a consultant to the firm while it considers potential replacements.
The company gave details of Monday’s resignations in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.
