ATLANTA — Ronald L. Smith has been elected chief financial officer of Unifi, Inc., succeeding William M. Lowe, Jr., who has left the company.
Smith, who just last week was named vice-president of finance and treasurer, joined Unifi in November 1994 and has held several positions, including controller, chief accounting officer and director of business development and corporate strategy. Most recently, he was treasurer and had additional responsibility for investor relations.
