NEW YORK — Vineyard Vines will add yet another store to its rapidly growing retail portfolio.

Chief executive officers and Vineyard Vines cofounders Shep and Ian Murray said they will open their newest outpost at 90 Main St. in Westport, Conn. sometime later this spring. The duo has partnered with the Mitchell family, owners of luxury stores Mitchells, Richards and Marshs, to open the new boutique—aptly called Vineyard Vines by Mitchells.

The 3,500-square-foot Westport location marks Vineyard Vines’ fourth joint venture with the Mitchell family. In 2006, Shep and Ian joined forces with the renowned retail family to open a Vineyard Vines flagship in Greenwich, Conn.; in November they opened an outpost at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fla. and are scheduled to open another shop in Georgetown this May.

“We’re bringing great product to Main Street Westport,” said Bob Mitchell, co-president of Mitchells, Richards and Marshs. “We’re very familiar with the Fairfield County culture and are confident that Vineyard Vines will thrive here.”

Starting off as a line of colorful, offbeat ties nearly 10 years ago, Vineyard Vines has now grown into a $60 million company that includes a full range of sportswear and accessories for men, women and children.
