ATLANTA — The Wacoal Science Corporation (WSSC) has named exclusive retailers in Mexico and the U.K. to offer its CW-X Conditional Wear brand in those countries for the first time. WSSC, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wacoal Corp., will launch CW-X in Snow and Rock Sports Ltd, which has 15 stores, as well as an Internet and catalog businesses. The agreement is for a one-year exclusive retail launch and distribution of the brand during which time CW-X also plans to appoint a U.K. distributor to cover all running, outdoor and ski specialty channels.
Deportes Marti, which has more than 90 stores, an Internet business and a chain of sports fitness clubs, will become the exclusive retail partner for the CW-X brand in Mexico. Deportes Marti is also the largest road race organizer and event manager in Mexico.
“Based on our accelerating growth in the U.S. and presence at major marathons and trade shows, more and more consumers and retailers from overseas are demanding CW-X availability in their markets,” said WSSC president and COO John Wilson.
"I was driving back on Saturday afternoon from the beach, and I just saw this sign saying 'Skydiving for $95.' And I was like, I can't not sky dive for $95," says Tom Bateman about a moment in Hawaii while shooting "Snatched." #wwdeye (📷: @vsteves; Interview by @ktauer; Styled by @thealexbadia)
