NEW YORK — Bennett Winick has joined Elie Tahari Ltd. as vice-president of sales for men's wear and international collection. The position was newly created following the resignation a week earlier of Mickey Klein, the vice-president who launched the men's wear division of the privately held company.
Winick will oversee the sales and distribution for all Elie Tahari men's wear domestically, as well as the wholesale volume of the men's, women's and accessories collections throughout Great Britain, Asia and the Middle East.
Winick has more than 17 years of sales experience in the apparel industry. He has held senior management positions at Dolce & Gabbana, Bergdorf Goodman and Ermenegildo Zegna. Most recently he was director of men's wholesale for North America for the Dolce & Gabbana men's wear collection.
"Bennett's extensive experience in wholesale, coupled with his leadership ability, will be a tremendous asset to the Elie Tahari management team," said Elie Tahari. "I'm thrilled to have him join us and I am confident that the division will grow under his direction."
"I was driving back on Saturday afternoon from the beach, and I just saw this sign saying 'Skydiving for $95.' And I was like, I can't not sky dive for $95," says Tom Bateman about a moment in Hawaii while shooting "Snatched." #wwdeye (📷: @vsteves; Interview by @ktauer; Styled by @thealexbadia)
