Salesforce said it updated its sales platform with the integration of AI software to introduce Einstein High Velocity Sales Cloud. The new platform will answer the growing demands of sales professionals as the field becomes increasingly digitized.The platform will facilitate the leverage of key factors that were formerly difficult to navigate and discern, the company said. Among these features, digital sales engagement such as e-mail, chat messaging, and video conferencing facilitates productivity and connectivity with prospective and present customers. These interactions have the ability to be automatically cataloged in its CRM. Artificial intelligence such as natural language processing for the identification of trends can recommend best next steps to strengthen relationships that result in a sale.Time is of the essence. “Now any salesperson has the power to quickly identify the best leads, eliminate busy work, boost pipeline and increase sales,” the company said. Features of the software include Einstein lead scoring, which uses machine and deep learning to mine and decipher leads. The company said, “The best leads are automatically surfaced to the digital sales rep, in addition to the most crucial information — including prospect location, past purchase history and the prospect’s job title — accelerating the sales cycle.”The need for manual entry is eliminated through its AI-informed activity capture function. “Einstein Activity Capture includes custom e-mail response templates and a calendar manager that allows for single-click responses and scheduling, enabling reps to spend less time on mundane tasks and more time building better relationships with their prospects,” the company said.
