NEW YORK — Goli Sheikholeslami, senior vice president and managing director of Style.com, the official Web site for Vogue and W magazines, has resigned.

“I’m leaving for personal reasons. I’d like to make a change in my life and leaving my job is the easiest way to make that happen,” she said. “It’s been a year and a half since we launched Style.com, and it’s in a good place. I feel comfortable leaving it.”

Sheikholeslami joined CondeNet five years ago as a business manager, and in June, 2000 was named to head Style.com, responsible for the Web site’s editorial and business operations. Among its advertisers are Ralph Lauren, Nike, Giorgio Armani, Neiman Marcus and Gloss.com. Style.com had an e-commerce deal with Neiman Marcus, but the Style.com store closed in January.

She’s most proud of building a site that attracted users quickly and doubled its audience in its first year. The site reported 25 million page views in February, up from 14 million a year ago. Her successor hasn’t been named yet, said Sara Chubb, president of CondeNet.
