Artificial intelligence platform company, Symphony RetailAI has revealed its newest initiative, SR Virtual Store Remodeling. The virtual reality (VR) tool facilitates users to reimagine existing and future store layouts according to analytics, a spokesman for the company said.The platform aims to provide CPGs a look at how products will perform on the shelf to ultimately deliver enhanced shopping journeys while expediting operations and supplier communication.“With SR Virtual Store Remodeling, we can create intelligent store layouts that engage customers based on their actual preferences,” explained Vishal Kirpalani, vice president of product experience and design at Symphony RetailAI. “The solution allows us to work with retailers and remove the guesswork to design new and unique layouts for each store location at a lower cost and execute virtual customer tests that ensure these investments will be optimized at the store, aisle and shelf level.”Geared mainly toward supermarkets, big box retailers stand to gather key insights under the software, too. “Symphony RetailAI Shopper Experience group creates a virtual 3-D model of any variety of a retailer’s store layouts and vision. Stakeholders at all levels of the planning process have visibility into store concept and can easily configure and improve connected processes by integrating real store plans, planograms and shopper marketing activations, without affecting any live stores,” said the spokesman.Users will then have the opportunity to virtually walk the store to encounter the experience as a customer might.
