Cheryl Vitali, currently senior vice president of U.S. marketing for Maybelline New York/Garnier, revealed Friday that she is leaving that role to join Lancôme, where she will hold the same title.
She is replacing Nina White in the role and will report to Carol Hamilton, president of L’Oréal’s Luxury Products Division.
Vitali made the announcement at the Cosmetic Executive Women’s Achiever Awards at the Waldorf-Astoria on Friday. She was honored alongside Estée Lauder’s Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Philosophy’s Cristina Carlino and Sephora’s Betsy Olum. She will assume her new role today.
