MILAN — Giorgio Armani is on the phone again.
The Italian fashion designer will unveil here today his third cell phone in collaboration with electronics giant Samsung, featuring Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 software.

“Elegant dressing is part of daily business life,” Armani stated. “I simply aim to create a smartphone which is not only an elegant tool, but also functional and useful, perfect for today’s managers….This is the Armani aesthetic — to combine beauty with function in a simple and timeless way.”
The phone, which will retail for around 700 euros, or $1,029 at current exchange, will be available in Italy, the U.K., Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, China and United Arab Emirates, from the end of the month.
