“Seeing all these photos brings back memories of the shoots, and all the people who helped me evolve over 14 years,” said Wek.
Bundchen, meanwhile, was still having fun hamming it up for photographers. “Do I have something in my teeth?” she asked date Nino Munoz, who took the natural portrait of her that hung nearby. “Nino is the only person I let photograph me without makeup because he knows how to light me. Because honey, let me tell you, lighting can make you or break you.”
Added Munoz, “She schools my assistants on shoots.”
One of the most iconic photos in the show belonged to Moffitt, who famously went topless in a Rudi Gernreich bathing suit.
“I spent two months pondering whether I should do it or not. I trusted Rudi, but I knew my tombstone one day would say, ‘Peggy Moffit, Topless Model’ when it should say, ‘Peggy Moffitt, A Great Goddamn Model.’
