South by Southwest began in 1987 as a folksy, quaint music festival. It’s since mushroomed into a smorgasbord of TED-style talks and panels, concerts, parties, marketing tie-ins and must-see events, like this year’s keynote address by Snoop Dogg. In the last few years, it’s also become a successful launching pad for movies, everything from indies like “Chef” and the Kickstarter-funded “Veronica Mars” to a hot studio comedy like “Neighbors.” Here, a preview of this year’s most anticipated titles.
