Opened this past summer, Tom Colicchio’s latest restaurant, Beachcraft, inside 1 Hotel South Beach, offers a menu of locally caught fish, antibiotic-free meats and loads of vegetables, along with salads, flatbreads and freshly made pastas. Colicchio is also at the helm of Tom on Collins, the hotel’s lobby bar, as well as The Sand Box, the poolside cantina.

Louis Vuitton unveils its collection of “Objets Nomades” — foldable furniture and travel accessories paying homage to the house’s history — in the new exhibition space of its Design District store. Vuitton collaborated with a group of designers including Patricia Urquiola, Maarten Baas and Marcel Wanders, who created a turquoise Ocean Drive-inspired Lounge Chair that honors Miami’s architectural heritage.

Montauk hot spot The Surf Lodge is taking over The Hall, the latest hotel edition to Collins Avenue, with artist-hosted dinners, poolside cocktail parties, pop-up shops and wellness classes. The Forties Art Deco landmark was repurposed into a bohemian South Beach destination with the help of designer Robert McKinley and restaurateur Spike Mendelsohn.
