1. SWEET SPOT
The Sugar Factory American Brasserie at the Paris Las Vegas hotel keeps the sweet tooth satisfied 24/7. The 22,000-square-foot space features a restaurant, gelato cafe, chocolate lounge and — of course — a store.
“It’s fun and colorful, and there’s something for everyone,” said owner Steven Davidovici, who estimates an average of nearly 500 customers an hour on the weekends. More than 7,000 guests attended Sugar Factory’s grand opening in March hosted by Kim Kardashian, who carried in a special edition diamond-encrusted lollipop valued at $1 million. A retail version with a rhinestone stem is available for $25 at the store, which also has locations at The Mirage Resort and Casino and the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood.
The brasserie menu includes smoked salmon frittata, grilled black angus filet and decadent desserts like the $36 lollipop goblet for four and the 24-scoop King Kong sundae. The Chocolate Lounge serves a selection of chocolate fondues ranging from $28 for a tasting for two to $1,000 for an arrangement of Dominican dark chocolate and a bottle of Dom Perignon.
Nicky Hilton, Eva Longoria, Cee Lo Green and Carmen Electra have been spotted treating themselves to the new sweet spot.

2. SUNNY ATTITUDE
The Tropicana hotel is making changes with the sun-loving set in mind. Part of its ongoing $180 million renovation is a new Nikki’s Beach outpost, a beach club with locations in sunny cities all over the world, including Saint-Tropez, Cabo San Lucas, Marrakech and Marbella. This Nikki’s comes in three parts — beach club, cafe and nightclub.
The Club is a full acre, opened over Memorial Day weekend, and has already hosted parties for celebrities including Britney Spears and Rihanna. The outdoor day club offers poolside atmosphere with lounge chairs and white daybeds. Cabanas are available for rent, with premium bottle service and nibbles.
Café Nikki serves American cuisine with brunch until 2 p.m. daily, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner and an outdoor happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. weekdays with $5 specialty cocktails, specialty ceviche and a sushi bar.
Finally, Club Nikki is a full nightclub experience with late-night partying in a 16,500-square-foot all-white interior.

3. MODERN BURLESQUE
The Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood, which opened in April with a birthday bash for Kourtney Kardashian and a performance by Cee Lo Green, features a playful and sexy ambiance, scantily clad dancers and a built-in Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon. Along with the usual dance floors and bars, there’s a 4,500-square-foot venue-within-a-venue where the bartenders wear lingerie and perform impromptu burlesque routines in elevated bathtubs, on platforms or on a rhinestone-studded carousel horse.
The the 20,000-square foot club was designed by Amy Kim, part of the team that created the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills. The result is a vintage Gothic aesthetic filled with framed photos of voyeuristic images, chandeliers, a stripper pole, candlelit glass fireplaces, ornate lighting, two bars, VIP booths and multiple rooms. A dance platform snakes through the VIP tables to create a multilevel experience in one room.

4. GREEK TO ME
Seafood from the Mediterranean is delivered daily to the Cosmopolitan to maintain the fresh Greek menu served at Estiatorio Milos.
With locations in Montreal, New York and Athens, restaurateur Costas Spiliadis brought this upscale Greek seafood restaurant to the Strip last December. Signature dishes include the Milos Special (slices of paper-thin zucchini and eggplant fried and served with tzatziki and kefalograviera cheese for $29); a grilled Mediterranean octopus with revythada ($26) and classic grilled fish (from $40 to $89).
Nearly 300 wines are stocked, including a robust selection of bottles from Greece, France and California. Wines by the glass range from $6 to $25.
For lunch, a seafood prix-fixe is offered, including an appetizer, entrée and dessert for around $20.
Guests can dine on the terrace or in the dining room, while smaller dining and wine rooms can accommodate private parties.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

5. BIRD’S-EYE VIEW
Flying above the Las Vegas Strip with 360-degree views is just another day at the office for the team at Adventure Helicopter Tours. Claiming to be the only tour in Vegas with “100 percent guaranteed window seating,” passengers can take day or night excursions. Six tours are available, from a quick view of the Strip to a trip including the Strip plus Red Rock Canyon or Hoover Dam. Tours are narrated by the pilot and offered in 11 languages. Services are available 24 hours a day, with complimentary shuttle service to all major hotels.
Guests begin each adventure with Champagne and refreshments, and can upgrade to a “doors off” tour, in which the doors of the MD520 jet copter are removed during the flight for a gustier and more exhilarating experience.
Each tour can hold up to six passengers and lasts between 15 and 40 minutes, and reservations are suggested.
