The brief interlude of inclement weather Tuesday night didn’t dampen Renée Zellweger’s spirits at the New York premiere of her film “My One and Only.”

Sporting a metallic gray one shouldered Carolina Herrera dress with a beaded belt and nude patent Louboutin heels (the latter coming straight from her own closet, “Thank god I ordered them—what else is going to match?” the star squealed), Zellweger ran through her list of fashion credits but stumbled when it came to her diamond cocktail ring. “This is horrible,” she muttered. “I can’t remember where my jewelry is from. I borrowed it and I’m bringing it back.” (It was Fred Leighton.)
Meanwhile, very dapper George Hamilton, on whose life the film is based, boasted about his “25 year old suit” made by Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard, “who make Prince Charles’ clothes, so I have royal potential.”
The ever-tanned actor expressed his pleasure at Logan Lerman’s talented portrayal of Hamilton at 15. “I wish I had your talent and age, kid,” Hamilton smiled at the young star, “I could do it all over!”
