PHOTO CALL: Azzaro hosted a party at the Jeu de Paume in Paris Tuesday night to launch “Azzaro,” a book celebrating the house’s 50th anniversary. The 80-page retrospective tome was published by Assouline and penned by Jéromine Savignon. It’s available in English- and in French-language editions that cost $25.
Newly minted Azzaro creative director Mathilde Castello Branco was among revelers. Branco said that for her holiday this past summer, she was given an iPad to access images from the book alongside others from Azzaro’s archives. She reckons she went through the thousand pictures about 10 times.
